With the return of normalcy to the RMG sector in the nation, 99.26 percent of the garment factories located in Savar, Ashulia, and Gazipur are currently operational.
As of 8 this morning, no problem was recorded in the apparel at Savar, Ashulia, Narayanganj, and Gazipur, as per a situation update released by the Chief Adviser’s Press Wing.
Out of 407 factories, three are currently closed in the Savar and Ashulia areas (including 02 factories as per regulation 13/1), whereas all the factories in Narayanganj are operating.
It stated that two factories out of 871 in the Gazipur region are closed.
