Authorities confirmed on Friday that Italy will host the Group of Seven summit in June of the next year at an opulent hotel that gained notoriety for hosting Justin Timberlake’s wedding.
In a social media video, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced that the summit would take place at the Borgo Enazia hotel in Puglia’s southern area from June 13 to June 15.
On January 1, Italy will assume the chairmanship of the group of industrialized nations, which is composed of the US, Japan, Germany, Canada, Italy, France, and Britain.
Situated between Bari and Brindisi on the Adriatic coast is Borgo Enazia. It included the 2012 nuptials of American pop sensation and producer Justin Timberlake with Jessica Biel.
