Russia’s first scheduled flight since 2022 lands in Cuba

According to TASS, the first flight from Russia since the restart of scheduled aviation operations landed in Cuba.

The flight from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport to Cuba took roughly thirteen hours, according to the Rossiya airline, which is part of the Aeroflot Group.

The Boeing-777 aircraft flew the flight with about 100% seat occupancy.

Flights will take place twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays. “The demand for tickets is enormous,” stated Rossiya official spokesman Sergey Starikov previously.
