A drone strike by Houthi rebels in Abu Dhabi has killed three foreigners and injured at least six others. The dead included two Indians and a Pakistani national.
Meanwhile, the Houthis have claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement posted on their website. They also warned that they could carry out more such attacks.
Al Jazeera quoted Abu Dhabi police as saying on Monday (January 17th) that three oil tankers had exploded in the famous commercial area of Musafa in Abu Dhabi.
A fire also broke out in a building under construction near Abu Dhabi International Airport. The wreckage of a small plane was found in both places.
Abu Dhabi police believe that these are the wreckage of a drone. The drone strikes caused explosions and fires.
