On Friday, May 16, the launch event for singer Sheikh Lana’s second album, “Otopor, abar,” took place at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro auditorium in Dhaka. The album was jointly unveiled by eminent composer and musician Nakib Khan and esteemed lyricist Shahid Mahmud Jangi, who attended as special guests.
The album features a collection of eight songs, all of which were composed and arranged by Joy Shahriar. The lyrics were contributed by Kabir Bakul, Fahimul Islam, Ketan Sheikh, Joy Shahriar, Farhan Abid, and Maruf Hasan.
The tracklist includes: “Mon Nishana,” “Kemon Kore,” “Tumi,” “Moner Majhe,” “Protiroop,” “Rod er Kachhe Rin,” “Bangladesh,” and “Kotota Tomake Beshechhi Bhalo.”
Released under the Ajob Records label, “Otopor, abar” is now accessible on all prominent global streaming platforms, including YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, Amazon, and Shadhin.
