Turkey marked the 30th anniversary of its diplomatic relations with Tajikistan, an important friend and partner in Central Asia, on January 29th.
Turkey was one of the first countries to establish diplomatic connections and open an embassy in Tajikistan after the country declared independence. Türkiye has always stood with Tajikistan, especially in the face of adversity, thanks to deep historical and cultural ties between our peoples.
Aside from the bold steps taken over the last three decades, the recent momentum in their bilateral relations in almost every field, as well as cooperation on regional and international issues, has served not only the common interests and well-being of both countries and peoples but has also contributed to the region’s stability and prosperity. Both countries now pursue similar policies on a wide range of topics affecting regional and global peace and prosperity, and they cooperate in international and regional organizations.
Mutual efforts to be taken in commerce, investments, culture, defense, and many other industries will raise our multidirectional cooperation to new heights in the coming years.
