Three workers died after inhaling toxic gas of a septic tank at chanchra village in Tazumuddin upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased were identified as Alauddin, 48, Shamim, 23, and Rakib, 24.
The workers died after inhaling poisonous gas when they get down inside the tank of an under-construction school building for cleaning it at around 11 am in Chanchra union of the upazila, police said.
On information, firefighters rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies. The bodies were sent to Bhola Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
