There is no alternative to involving the youth in tackling the climate crisis

Without the effective involvement of the youth, the adverse effects of climate change cannot be tackled sustainably. There is no alternative to the involvement of the youth in the formulation and implementation of climate crisis mitigation policies. Such a thing has come up in a workshop on climate justice in Sylhet.

Therefore, in order to prevent global warming, the youth of the world, including Bangladesh, must come forward individually and collectively to reduce climate change, adaptation, and greenhouse gas emissions. At the same time, opportunities should be created for the active participation of the youth in the activities undertaken by the government.

On Friday (March 12th), YouthNet for Climate Justice and Islamic Relief Bangladesh organized a day-long workshop on the adverse effects of climate change and ways to overcome it at an elite hotel in the city.
