International School Dhaka (ISD) has celebrated its Graduation Ceremony recently, for its 37 graduating seniors. The event was attended, online, by students, parents, faculty, and staff. The ceremony started with a photograph montage featuring all the graduates, followed by speeches, a brief video of the class of 2020, awards, and certificates. The celebration ended with a benediction by the director of the school.
Several awards were given to the graduates including High Honors (minimum GPA of 3.8 in Grade 12), Honor Roll (minimum GPA of 3.5 in Grade 12), and Honor Cord (minimum GPA of 3.6 in Grade 11-12 and completed 4 years of English, Mathematics, Individuals and Societies, and Science). Fabiha Saddat and Salsabil Salek were chosen as Valedictorian and Salutatorian, for having the best and second-highest cumulative grades, respectively.
On the occasion, TJ Coburn, the School Director wished the best for the graduates: “The world you will come to know will not mark the return to the way before. It will be new and changing. You graduate at the advent of a new season, one to be filled with hope for our world.”
