The US Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Mark Green will arrive here on May 13 on an official visit to Bangladesh.
He will also go to Myanmar and Thailand during the visit till May 23, said a release here today.
USAID Senior Deputy Assistant Administrator for Asia Gloria Steele and US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees, and Migration Ambassador Mark Storella will accompany Administrator Green as part of the delegation.
Green plans to visit several sites where the US government is providing humanitarian assistance to displaced Rohingyas and affected host communities.
He will also meet with the government officials here.
In Myanmar, the administrator will meet with civil-society representatives, students, and youth leaders, as well as government officials to discuss steps needed to address the crises in Rakhine State and violence in other areas of the country.
