UAE, Canadian envoys to strengthen aviation cooperation

In order to discuss strengthening aviation collaboration, UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Khaseif AlHmoudi and Canadian Charge d’Affaires Debra Boyce met separately with Air Vice Marshal Md Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).

Important subjects like passenger information systems, anti-drone systems, and ground handling services were covered at the discussion with the UAE envoy, according to a press release from CAAB.

The need to improve bilateral ties and increase collaboration in a range of aviation-related fields was stressed by both parties.

At the end of the conversation, there was an agreement to collaborate on upcoming projects.

Afterwards, Canadian Charg, d’Affaires Debra Boyce emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral ties and Canada’s continued assistance to Bangladesh’s aviation industry.

She reaffirmed Canada’s dedication to supporting the creation of smart airports and increased aviation collaboration.

Regarding upcoming sectoral collaborations, both parties voiced hope.
