Pope arrives in Indonesia, first stop of four-nation tour: AFP

An AFP reporter accompanying Pope Francis said that the 87-year-old pontiff touched down in Indonesia on Tuesday, the first leg on his four-nation Asia-Pacific tour and the longest of his pontificate.

The pope began a three-day trip focused on fostering interreligious relations when he touched down in Jakarta at approximately 11:16 am local time (04:16 GMT). After that, he will go to Papua New Guinea, East Timor, and Singapore.
