Shafiqul Alam was today commended by the Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) for being appointed as Chief adviser Prof. Dr. Muhammad Yunus’s press secretary.
In a statement, the journalists’ association congratulated him.
Shafiqul Alam, the head of AFP’s Bangladesh bureau, was named press secretary to the main advisor of the provisional government on August 13.
He had previously been the vice-present for the ERF. The ERF hoped he would succeed and wished him well.
