Health in All Policies: making it work in practice

News Hour:

Following the launch of WHO’s Health in All Policies (HiAP) training manual in 2015, the challenge facing policy-makers and practitioners is how to build political will to address health inequalities, how to make intersectoral working succeed to improve health and well-being, and how to tackle growing health inequalities.

This new course, to be held in 2017, aims to explore the reality of achieving HiAP in practice from a political perspective, drawing on case studies and research in this area. This unique opportunity is designed for senior policymakers and practitioners from all countries committed to HiAP.

The course will be organized by the WHO Collaborating Centre and Centre for Public Policy and Health, Durham University in the United Kingdom. For further information click here.
