Facebook Messenger is down. Users of Facebook Messenger have failed to deliver messages. Instead, they are seeing a message “waiting for network” in the Messenger app.
The same technical problem is being experienced by users of Instagram at the same time.
The outage also comes at a hard time for Facebook, arriving just hours after it was declared that the company was being hit by lawsuits that threaten to break up it, Instagram and WhatsApp.
The problems particularly impacted people in Europe and also all over the world.
