FM leaves for the US, Türkiye, on the UNGA campaign

In support of Bangladesh’s bid for the presidency of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman departed Dhaka this morning for the United States to attend a number of events.

As part of Bangladesh’s diplomatic outreach for the UNGA presidency bid, the foreign minister will make a quick detour in Turkey en route to New York, where he is expected to hold a number of meetings and engagements, a foreign ministry official told BSS.

In order to bolster support for Bangladesh’s candidacy, Dr. Rahman is anticipated to meet with diplomats and other relevant parties during the tour.
