Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric show to kick off January 28

Beginning on January 28, the “25th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2026 – Winter Edition” will significantly improve Bangladesh’s textile and apparel industry.

The International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the city will host the four-day international exhibition, which is jointly organized by CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-Tex China.

The “8th Dhaka International Denim Show 2026” will take place concurrently with this event. Until January 31, both shows will be accessible to the public every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be more than 250 booths and about 230 firms from more than 15 countries attending the event.

During a press conference held today at the Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon, organizers highlighted that the show serves as a vital international platform for buyers and suppliers of yarn, fabric, denim, trims, and accessories.
 
As the world’s second-largest garment exporter, Bangladesh relies heavily on such exhibitions to maintain its competitive edge.
 
Meherun N. Islam, President and Group Managing Director of CEMS-Global USA & Asia Pacific, emphasized that the show facilitates direct communication for business expansion and plays a crucial role in advancing the textile industry and increasing Ready-Made Garment (RMG) exports.
  
The joint venture between CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-Tex China is celebrating its ninth anniversary with this year’s expo.Important authorities attended the news briefing, including Deputy Director Wu Zhizhen, who joined via video conference from Beijing, and Chen Bo, Secretary General of CCPIT-Tex.

Upon registration, the display will be accessible to all visitors. It is anticipated that this event would serve as a major hub for sourcing and networking in the worldwide textile supply chain.
