Army Chief leaves for Qatar on official visit

General Waker-Uz-Zaman, the Chief of Army Staff, departed Dhaka today for an official visit to Qatar.

According to a statement released by ISPR this morning, the Army Chief will make courtesy calls to key military and civilian leaders in Qatar during the visit and discuss bilateral military cooperation.

After the tour is over, the Army Chief is anticipated to return to Bangladesh on May 5.
