A significant shipment of rice from Vietnam has reached Bangladesh, with the arrival of the vessel MV Thai BINH-9 at the bustling Chittagong Port.
The ship is carrying a substantial 20,000 metric tons of Atop rice, a detail confirmed in a press information department (PID) release issued earlier today.
Authorities at the port have already commenced the process of unloading this considerable quantity of rice, indicating efforts are underway to expedite its distribution.
This arrival is likely to contribute to the existing rice supply in the country.
