Bangladesh receives $814.29m in remittance in 8-day of March 

Over $814.29 million was remitted by Bangladeshi expatriates in the first eight days of March of the fiscal year 2024–2025.

According to figures provided today by Bangladesh Bank (BB), commercial banks earned $512.94 million of this total, while state-owned and specialty banks received $299.80 million.

One state-owned specialist bank, Bangladesh Krishi Bank, earned $68.45 million, while six state-owned commercial banks—Agrani, Janata, Rupali, Sonali, Basic, and BDBL—received $231.35 million.

The nation received the largest remittance, $160.13 million, from Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd.
