Today, the National Independent Investigation Commission on the 2009 Mutiny in the then-paramilitary BDR force, established by the interim government, urged all parties involved to submit information about the uprising that claimed 74 lives, including 57 military commanders.

People were encouraged to submit their views and testimonies to the commission’s website, bdr-commission.org, which is run by retired lieutenant general ALM Fazlur Rahman and has seven members.

In a special public notice, the Commission stated that “anyone is encouraged to help the Commission by providing helpful information for the investigation through its website bdr-commission.org.”

Additionally, the Commission called on the public and private media to support its demand, especially by broadcasting scrolling on television channels between March 5 and March 10.

The warning was also distributed by the Commission to all operators’ mobile phone consumers.
