BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was visited by French Ambassador to Bangladesh Marie Masdupuy this afternoon at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan.
BNP Organizing Secretary Shama Obaid was also there, as was Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the BNP Standing Committee and Chairperson’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee.
Amir Khasru said reporters during the meeting that a wide range of topics, including the economy and elections in Bangladesh, were discussed.
The French diplomat anticipated that the current political climate in Bangladesh will soon improve.
