According to an ISPR announcement, Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman was the main guest at the Mirzapur Ex-Cadet Association (MECA) reunion function today.
When Gen. Wakar arrived at the program, he was greeted by the president of MECA, the principal of the college, and the GOC of the 9th Infantry Division and Area Commander of Savar.
The army chief saluted and launched the reunion program.
The army chief spoke on the occasion and recalled the cadets’ role in nation-building initiatives.
He asked the cadets to dedicate themselves to serving the country and wished them general success and continued prosperity.
Teachers, cadets, top military authorities, local civil administration officials, and former college cadets attended the event.
