British HC representatives meet enforced disappearance commission

Today, at the commission of inquiry on enforced disappearance’s office in the capital city of Gulshan, a delegation from the British High Commission in Bangladesh met with the panel.

According to a press release, the group was greeted and given an update on the panel’s operations by Justice Moyeenul Islam Chowdhury, the chairperson of the commission.

The announcement also stated that the delegation commended the commission’s efforts and promised their full cooperation and assistance.

Roy Fleming and Sian Embler from the UK Foreign Office were part of the delegation, as was Doyin Adele-Shiyanbola, First Secretary (Political) of the British Embassy.
