In an agreement mediated by the United Arab Emirates, Russia announced on Monday that it had exchanged 150 Ukrainian soldiers who were taken captive for an equivalent number of Russian forces.
As a consequence of the negotiations, 150 Russian soldiers were repatriated from Kyiv regime-controlled territory on December 30. 150 POWs from the Ukrainian army were returned in exchange, according to the Russian defense ministry.
