In anticipation of the introduction of a new e-Visa system, the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka has declared that it will stop taking applications for visa stickers on December 24.The embassy confirmed in a statement that visa sticker applications submitted prior to December 24 will continue to be handled normally.
All Thai visa applications must be made exclusively via the e-Visa portal at http://www.thaievisa.go.th as of January 2, 2025.
The goal of the switch to the e-Visa system is to modernize and expedite the visa application procedure, providing applicants with increased efficiency and convenience.
