Today, Commissioner SM Sajjat Ali of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) received a courtesy call from a delegation from the US Embassy.
The Police Commissioner was given a courtesy call at the DMP Headquarters here by the group headed by Eric Geelan, Political and Economic Chief of the US Embassy in Dhaka.
Discussions for fostering mutual relations between the US Embassy and the DMP were discussed during the meeting.
Future work plans, improving CTTC officers’ performance, maintaining mutual collaboration in combating crimes including terrorism, cybercrime, and transnational crime, and supporting one another’s professional development were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by Daniel Blackmore, Regional Security Officer of the US Embassy, Hermanoschy Bernard, Political Officer, Tanik Munir and Nabil Mahmud Senior, Program Management Specialists of the Department of Justice. Senior officials of the DMP were also present.
