Met office predicts dry weather across country

Starting at 9 a.m. today, the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted that the country’s skies would be partly cloudy and dry for the next 24 hours.

“The country may experience a small drop in daytime and nighttime temperatures. According to a forecast statement from the Met Office here at noon, “there may be light fog in some areas over the country’s river basins in the early morning.”

Feni, Cox’s Bazar, and Ambagan in Chattogram division had the highest temperature yesterday at 32.5 degrees Celsius, while Badalgachhi in Rajshahi division recorded the lowest temperature today at 15.4 degrees Celsius.

In the capital, the sun sets at 5:12 p.m. today and rises at 6:14 a.m. tomorrow.
