The head of the World Health Organisation issued a dire warning on Saturday, stating that “intensive military operations unfolding around and within healthcare facilities” are occurring in the northern part of the war-torn Gaza Strip.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus stated on X that “a critical shortage of medical supplies, compounded by severely limited access, are depriving people of life-saving care” and that “the situation in northern Gaza is catastrophic.”
