NRC to collect documents, data of 11 power plants

The National Review Committee (NRC) made the decision to gather information and records pertaining to eleven power plants.

In its second meeting, which was held on September 28 at Bidyut Bhaban, the NRC—which was established by the government to review contracts signed under the Speedy Supply of Power and Energy (Special Provision) Act 2010 (Amended 2021)—made the judgment.

According to a energy ministry statement issued today, the NRC asked the Power, Energy and Mineral Resources to provide all information-data and documents of 11 power plants –Meghnaghat 583 MW Dual Fuel, Baghabari 200 MW HSD, Patuakhali 150 MW HFO, Mongla 100 MW, Ashuganj 150 MW HFO, Manikganj 162 MW HFO, Kodda 300 MW HFO, Sundarganj 200 MW, Lalmonirhat 30 MW, Sutiakhali 50 MW and Godda to the committee.
