Convicts injured employee in Bavaria hospital escape

One of the medical facility’s employees was allegedly hurt by the four fugitives, who then made him unlock the gate. The guys are thought to be dangerous, and the police stated that they were still conducting a “intensive” hunt for them.

German investigators said on Sunday that four men who escaped a mental health facility for prisoners are accused of holding a staff member hostage and physically harming him to get him to release them.

The BKH Lerchenhaid hospital, located in the southern German state of Bavaria in the town of Straubingen, was breached by the fugitives on Saturday.
