Biden spoke to Trump after rally shooting: White House

Following the Republican’s injuries in what appeared to be an assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania campaign rally, US President Joe Biden has spoken with his opponent in the election, Donald Trump, according to a White House official.

The official stated, “This evening, President Biden spoke to former President Trump,” and added that law enforcement would provide an updated report on the event to the US incumbent on Sunday morning.
