Chief of intelligence for Israel, David Barnea departed Doha on Friday following discussions on a truce and a deal for the release of Gaza’s hostages with Qatari mediators, an AFP source with knowledge of the talks said.
“After meetings with Qatari mediators on a Hamas response for a Gaza ceasefire, an Israeli delegation led by David Barnea has left Doha for Israel,” the source, who spoke under condition of anonymity due to the delicate nature of the discussions, stated.
