NATO has ‘no plans to deploy forces to Ukraine’: Stoltenberg

NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg stated on Thursday that the organization did not intend to send troops to Ukraine, where several of its allies had given arms in the wake of Russia’s invasion.

During a visit to Finland, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that the alliance “has no plans to deploy forces to Ukraine” and that it was looking for a “long term financial commitment to ensure that we stand by Ukraine for as long as it takes.”
