BNNRC CEO to Participate in UN FAO’s AMR Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform Inaugural Assembly

The CEO of BNNRC will be present at the UN FAO Headquarters in Italy for the Antimicrobial Resistance Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform’s inaugural plenary assembly.

Mr. AHM Bazlur Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of Bangladesh NGOs Network for Radio and Communication (BNNRC), has been chosen by the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform to attend the AMR Multi-Stakeholder Platform’s Inaugural Plenary Assembly, which will take place in person on November 15–16 at UN FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy.

He will join the session titled Pioneering, Connecting & Empowering Voices for Change: Strengthening Media to Fight Against AMR in Bangladesh as a speaker.

The Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform is part of a set of global governance structures on AMR, alongside the AMR Global Leaders Group on Antimicrobial Resistance and the Independent Panel on Evidence for Action against AMR. Platform Facilitated by the Quadripartite – comprising the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), the World Health Organization (WHO) & and the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH).

BNNRC has joined the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Multi-Stakeholder Partnership Platform since 2022 from Bangladesh. The Platform’s aim is to catalyze a global movement for action against Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR).
