According to his doctor, US Vice President Joe Biden received the latest Covid-19 vaccine in addition to the yearly flu shot.
Kevin O’Connor, the president’s personal physician, expressed the US president’s hope that other leaders will follow his example.
The new anti-Covid 19 vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna, which are more suited to the virus types now in circulation, were approved last week by US officials.
They now advise that everyone in the United States who is 60 years of age or older get an RSV immunization.
