Thai Airways International, the official airline of Thailand, today announced the beginning of “Double Daily” service between Dhaka and Bangkok beginning on July 16, 2023, and running through the end of the summer schedule.
Travelers can now take advantage of evening flights from Dhaka to the Thai capital thanks to the advent of twice-daily flights, bringing the total number of flights on this route to 14.
According to a press release, this was made known at a Thai Agent Networking event held at a nearby hotel in the city’s center.
The airline is offering special discounts as part of the “Happy July” promotion for round-trip flights from Dhaka to well-liked locations in Asia, North Asia, Europe, and Australia as a way of commemorating the double daily flights during the summer vacation period.
The airline will run flights between Bangkok and Dhaka in the morning at 12:10 PM (local time), while flights between Dhaka and Bangkok will depart at 1:35 PM on Boeing 787 Dreamliners or Boeing 772s with 30 business class seats and 262 economy class seats.
Examining nightly flights, the 168-seat Airbus A320-200 narrow body aircraft used on the Bangkok-Dhaka route arrives around 01:25 (local time), while the Dhaka-Bangkok flight departs at 02:45 (local time).
