Saudi Arabia keen to provide all-out cooperation in Bangladesh’s development

Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud has stated that his country is eager to provide complete assistance in Bangladesh’s continuous growth and advancement.

“Saudi Arabia is always keen to provide all-out cooperation in the development and progress of Bangladesh,” Saudi Crown Prince told Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin while exchanging greetings with the President at a reception programme in Makkah on Thursday evening.

The Crown Prince hosted the reception in honor of the Heads of State and Government of various Muslim countries gathered here on the occasion of the Holy Hajj.

The President, his wife Dr Rebecca Sultana, and other family members are now in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) as royal guests of the Saudi government, doing Hajj.

During the pleasantries with the Prince, the President stated that increasing bilateral and multilateral cooperation in different domains, including trade and investment, is always a top goal for Bangladesh.

In inviting the Saudi Crown Prince to visit Bangladesh, the President reminded the Prince that the people of Bangladesh are delighted to welcome him, according to President’s Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin.

The people of Bangladesh want the World Muslim Ummah to thrive and progress under Saudi leadership, he remarked.

During the meeting, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman praised Bangladesh’s development and accomplishments.

Bangladesh, he hoped, would go forward on the path of development and success in the coming days.

Referring to the plan for visiting Bangladesh, the Saudi Crown Prince said he wants to visit Bangladesh with a specific programme so that it can be marked as a unique milestone in the development and partnership of the two countries in future.

President Shahabuddin expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Saudi government and people for the warm hospitality extended to him and his entourages.
