EU chief Von der Leyen arrives in Kyiv for ‘Europe Day’

As a symbolic reaction to Moscow’s Victory Day parade, EU leader Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Kyiv on Tuesday to observe Europe Day of peace and togetherness.

According to a train reporter, the head of the European Commission traveled overnight from Poland to see head Volodymyr Zelensky and work on Ukraine’s potential EU membership.
