After a string of disastrous Russian attacks on the nation’s energy grid, the World Health Organization issued a warning on Monday that the coming winter would be “life-threatening” for millions of Ukrainians.
According to Hans Kluge, WHO’s regional director for Europe, “millions of people in Ukraine will face a life-threatening winter.” This winter will essentially be about survival, he continued.
