Bangladesh Football Federation has suspended the league. This information has been given in the notification of closing the league sent by BFF on Thursday (July 1) at 1:15 pm.
The reasons for the closure of the league have been mentioned in the notification as the current weather conditions, weather reports for the next few days and the condition of the field at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
Although a severe lockdown started due to Corona, BFF continued to play with some changes in the schedule. The match between Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra and Sheikh Russell Krira Chakra was scheduled to be played on Friday (July 2). But BFF’s plan is to dam the dam.
Due to heavy rains, the condition of the field became unsuitable for playing. The previous two days, the country’s football governing body played on a slippery and muddy field. But in the end they decided to suspend the league.
