Israel has decided to give 1 million Pfizer COVID vaccines to Palestine, on the condition of returning them later. The BBC quoted the country’s officials as saying.
According to the BBC, Pfizer’s vaccines will expire in a few days. Before that, Israel wants to give these vaccines to Palestine. However, as soon as the vaccine is received, the Palestinians will have to return the same amount of vaccine to Israel.
Earlier, the country had given two doses of Pfizer Bioentech vaccine to about 55 per cent of Israelis. Authorities say about 30 per cent of Palestinians in Gaza’s West Bank have so far been vaccinated with a single dose of coronavirus.
However, it is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
