Prime Minister Boris Johnson made the government’s latest decision at a news conference on Downing Street in the UK’s Prime Minister’s Office on Monday (July 14). He also said that the issue of relaxation of lockdown depends entirely on the situation in the country; If the Corona situation does not improve as expected by July 19, the lockdown will be extended.
Meanwhile, the UK’s state-run healthcare agency, the NHS, said in a statement that a “corona situation” is expected to improve across the UK, including England, within the next month. Because during this period, necessary steps will be taken to make the mass immunization program more dynamic.
At a news conference on Monday, Boris Johnson said corona tests and immunizations would be increased across the country in the coming weeks. Vaccination of 23 and 24-year-olds will also start in England from Tuesday.
In February, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that the government had a four-step plan to lift the lockdown in various parts of Britain, including England. Accordingly, from June 21, all Britons will be able to return to a life free of Corona restrictions.
