Global smartphone maker vivo is set to double the number of service Centers in Bangladesh owing to growing demands from customers in Bangladesh. The brand will add an additional 20 service Centers, reaching the total number of service Centers in the country to a total 40.
The use and demands for smartphones have increased because of the ongoing pandemic. Responding to the higher demands for service, vivo has announced its plans to ramp up the number of its service centre facilities.
The multinational company is also looking to launch a country-wide 24/7-operational courier management service. This service will ensure that vivo smartphones and accessories can reach the remote areas of the country.
To ensure uninterrupted service during the strict lockdown vivo brand stores have been turned into temporary pick up points. Customers can drop their devices off to this stores and get them back from there after servicing, saving the customers the trouble of finding a service centre in the midst of lockdown.
Currently, customers can get service within an hour from the existing service Centers. vivo also offers free smartphone servicing and cleaning, zero labour cost repair on every Thursday in the 3rd week of every month, as part of its ‘vivo service day’ initiative.

We understand that accessibility is a challenge in present times, but we are here to support our customers through thick and thin and provide them with the best of experiences. We have a strong network of 20 service Centers countrywide. Keeping in the mind the growing vivo family, we aim to increase the touchpoints to 40 Centers soon to bring hassle-free support closer to customers. We are also working on establishing a 24X7 operational remote query management service to deliver seamless customer experience at all times.”
vivo’s new service initiative and solutions have received widespread appreciation by the public. Praising the new service initiative, Wahid Muran, a customer from Dhaka, said, “My vivo V15 Pro had a broken display, and the phone was in an almost disassembled condition. I decided to send my device in for repair, even though I did not have high hopes for it. However, the service team assured me that my device was in good hands and they’ll make the necessary repairs. Everyone was attentive, responsive, and sincere. They repaired and assembled my phone at the front desk within an hour with utmost professionalism, and I am thoroughly impressed by vivo’s service.”
At present, vivo has 20 service Centers located at various locations, including 3 in Dhaka and other cities like Chittagong, Mymensingh, Rangpur, Khulna, Barishal, Bogra, Narayangonj, Narshingdi, Sylhet, Comilla, Gazipur, Rajshahi, Savar, Cox’s Bazar, Jessore, Potuakhali, and Tangail.
