WhatsApp messages will be deleted after 24 hours

WhatsApp authorities announced late last year that they would bring a disappearing feature to delete messages for 7 days. Then when the testing is done, it will be launched in time in the WhatsApp group. It also became quite popular among the users.

WhatsApp is working to update that feature a little more this time. It is learned that this disappearing message feature is going to be launched in 24 hours instead of 7 days.

WABetaInfo has recently informed the report. However, according to the report, the popularity of the feature in disappearing messages is not the only goal of this update, the real goal is to stay ahead in the competition. Because the competing company Telegram gives its users various options in this regard. WhatsApp is also taking steps towards that goal.

In other words, the 7-day period is being lifted and the 24-hour period is not being replaced. As it stands, the company is also giving users the opportunity to choose a 24-hour period.

In addition, WhatsApp is going to make a few more changes in terms of this disappearing message feature. Until now, only a group admin has the ability to enable this feature in a group. But WABetaInfo reports that from now on, all members of the group will be able to enable or disable this feature.

Besides, not only the message, the company is also working on the disappearing photo feature. Like the Disappearing Messages feature, this feature is also known to be available on both Android and iOS platforms.
