Sonali Bank Limited which is a principal state-owned leading public commercial bank in Bangladesh is going to donate Taka 50 lakh for the overall development of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Research Institute for Peace and Liberty.
The check of 50 Lakh BDT will be formally handed over at a ceremony in Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban tomorrow, said a press release here today.
Vice-chancellor of Dhaka University Dr Akhtaruzzaman will attend the ceremony as the chief guest while Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director of Sonali Bank Md Ataur Rahman will present as special guest, with institute Chairmen Dr Fakhrul Alam in the chair.
High officials of Dhaka University and Sonali Bank will also present on the occasion.
