Bangabandhu Tour De CHT MTB challenge is knocking on door to say buy to year 2020

To pay homage to this great leader on the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the greatest Bengali nation and to inspire the new generation in the development of the existing tourism industry of Bangladesh and spontaneous participation in mountain based adventure sports, the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts “Bangabandhu Mountain Bike Challenge – 2020” is going to be organized jointly.

Competitors will cover a distance of about 300 km from December 28 to 30 in a three-day mountain bike competition from Sajek to Thanchi.

The main purpose of organizing this competition is:

• Adding a new dimension to the mountains to celebrate the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu.
• To promote adventure sports tourism in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
• Introduce local people to mountain bicycling.
• To create opportunities to participate in competitions in the international arena.
• Increase the ability of the new generation to develop physical and mental health.

The Proposed Prize Money for this program is announced 7.5 lack BDT.
