The head of the vaccine research team at Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University said research on the vaccine had been completed and it had been proven to be safe. One group of volunteers will be released on July 15 and the other on July 20.

There are 18 people in the first group of volunteers. They were vaccinated on June 18. On the other hand, the members of the second group of 20 volunteers were vaccinated on June 23.

Alexander Lukashev, director of the Institute of Medical Parasitology, Tropical and Vector-Borne Diseases at Sechenav University, said the goal of this step in researching the vaccine was to find out if it was safe in the human body.
