In Bangladesh, Rotary International District 3281 has started a program to deliver 1.5 lakh food items to the affected people in Corona. They also said that another 3,000 families would be given financial and food assistance equal to one month’s living.
This information was given in a message signed by Rotary International Bangladesh Deputy Governor Abul Khair Chowdhury today.
It is to be noted that after the spread of coronavirus across the country, Rotary International has been carrying out various programs including distribution of hand sanitizers and masks among the poor workers, distribution of PPE, and construction of oxygen pool.
Meanwhile, the Rotary Foundation is also implementing a project to provide free Covid-19 test kits and install ventilators in government and non-government organizations.
