Army patrols are being stepped up in government-declared red zones according to the level of coronavirus infection.
The information was given in a message from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.
“Army patrols are being intensified in the red zones to ensure proper compliance with government directives,” the message said.
Armed forces are on the ground to assist the civilian administration in preventing the coronavirus.
As coronavirus infections continue to increase, neighborhoods, wards and areas across the country are being locked down in three zones (regions): red (red), yellow (yellow) and green (green). Several areas have already been locked down. The army is also patrolling the red zone in the eastern Rajabazar area of the capital.
